X-Ray and Metallurgical Testing Services
Decisive Testing, Inc. offers onsite and laboratory metallurgical testing. Our services include Positive Material Identification of alloys using our state-of-the-art X-Ray Fluorescence and Optical Emission Spectrometer units. We also provide Digital Industrial X-Ray and Film X-Ray for many clients in Southern California and Northern Baja Mexico. We provide daily Third Party Verification of alloy composition and weld x-rays for our Aerospace and Oil and Gas Industry customers. We offer 24-hour turnaround for some of our contract customers.
42 Years of Material Testing
Our company has been serving customers for 42 years. We serve many industries including Aerospace, Petrochemical, Construction, Environmental and more. Our clients include private industry, military, and government at every level. We offer mobile on site and laboratory services for industrial radiography including both film and digital x-ray. Our X-Ray Fluorescence testing units (XRF) are hand held and can be used at our facility or in the field. Our laboratory includes state-of-the-art analytical equipment including a Thermo Scientific ARL 3460 optical emission spectrometer and numerous other equipment and instruments used in NDT, metallurgical and mechanical testing.
Decisive Testing's quality system is certified to ISO 9001, ANSI/NCSC-Z1540, Mil-q-9858B, SAE as 9100 Rev B and NADCAP.
Standards certified to Include: ASTM, ASME, API, AWS, Federal Standards, Ansi, ISO, Mil-Std, FAA, DOD and SAE. We have a metallurgical engineer on staff.
Our inspectors are certified Level II and Level III to NAS-410, ASNT-TC-1A, S9074-AS GIB-010/271, IRRSP, tuv cert, AWS qc-1, NADCAP and ESD control.
Southern California and Baja Norte Mexico Maquiladoras
We offer services throughout Southern California and Baja California Norte Mexico. The counties we service include Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Riverside and Imperial. We also service the maquiladora and other manufacturers in the cities of Tijuana and Mexicali. Our technicians are available for service on an as-needed basis or can provide regularly scheduled weekly or monthly visits.
